Industrial production down by 1.2% MoM, falls 0.8% YoY in September’18

Bulgaria's industrial production index fell by 1.2% on a monthly basis in September’18, after being flat MoM in August. The working day adjusted index lost 0.8% YoY as mining quarrying production lost 12.2%. On a monthly basis, the latter gained 3.2% after a large slump in July. The production in the utilities sector fell 1.9% MoM (-4.7% YoY), while the manufacturing sector contracted by 1.4% MoM (+0.8% YoY).
