According to preliminary data by NSI, Bulgaria's industrial production index decreased 1.6% MoM in Dec’24. On an annual basis, the working day adjusted index was down by 3.9%. On a monthly basis, the production dropped in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 7.4% (-28.8% YoY) and in manufacturing (-1.6% MoM; -1.2% YoY), while in the mining and quarrying industry an increase was registered (+21.4% MoM; +8.0% YoY).
