According to preliminary data by NSI, Bulgaria's industrial production index increased 0.8% MoM in Aug’24. On an annual basis, the working day adjusted index was down by 2.6%. On a monthly basis, the production decreased in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 11.8% (-10% YoY), while the mining and quarrying industry (+22.1% MoM; +15.3% YoY) and manufacturing (+2.3% MoM; -1.7% YoY) advanced during the month.
