According to preliminary data by NSI, Bulgaria's industrial production index registered a 4.6% MoM decrease in April’26. On an annual basis, the working day adjusted index was down by 4.1%. On a monthly basis, the production decreased in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 1.3% (-13.9% YoY), followed by manufacturing (-3.4% MoM; -0.1% YoY) and mining and quarrying industry (-9.4% MoM; -33.8% YoY).
