Leoni invests EUR 32m in an assembly operation near Pleven

German cable manufacturer Leoni commences the EUR 32m investment into an assembly plant, located in the industrial zone of Pleven, Capital.bg reports. The facility would span across 30k sq. m including production, logistics and administrative quarters. Out of the investment total, EUR 16m will be dedicated to machinery and equipment. At full capacity the site will employ 2000 people. The plant itself should be finished by September of next year.
