The prices of all types of fuel produced by Bourgas-based LUKoil-Neftochim rose by an average 19% as from 0.00 o'clock on 7 March. This is the third increase in a row in the prices of petrols, diesel and black oil for the last 30 days only. According to experts in the refinery, the reason for the increase is the high price of crude on the international markets. The rise in Neftochim's prices occurs just a week before the refinery is closed for major repairs. Such repairs have not been made for the last 30 years and all the production installations now are to be stopped. LUKoil-Neftochim assured that for the 45 days while the repairs are going on, the refinery has enough reserves of all liquid fuels. If necessary, fuels could be imported from other LUKoil's plants in Russia and Romania
