Extraordinary general meetings at three of Bulgartabac's best cigarette producing companies: Sofia BT, Blagoevgrad BT and Plovdiv BT, elected new directors and boards of directors of the enterprises. Only the CEO of Plovdiv BT, Zlatomira Draganska, keeps her office. Sofia BT will be headed by Krassimir Petrov, currently CEO of Pleven BT, who will replace Slavyan Stoichkov. The Pleven-based company lost its cigarette production licence in 2004 and is now primed for a transformation into one of the best tobacco processing units of Bulgarian Holding. Sofia BT's board of directors will be chaired by Ivan Bilarev, who is also member of Bulgartabac Holding's management board. Petar Papucharov will take over the executive office at Blagoevgrad BT. Papucharov, who is currently head of cigarette production at the company, will replace Hristo Lachev. The latter was elected executive director of the holding. Assen Shehov remains chairman of the board.
