Bulgarian Minister of European Affairs and Chief Negotiator with the EU Meglena Kouneva conferred on Tuesday with Chairman of the Delegation to the EU of French National Assembly Pierre Lequiller. Kouneva is on a one-day working visit to Paris within the regular consultations with the European partners in connection with the efforts undertaken by the Bulgarian government to speed up EU accession talks. The French official pointed his country's support for Eastern European countries and especially to Bulgaria in the enlargement process. He has made concrete proposals for bilateral contacts on the individual chapters of negotiations, the press release says.
