The assets of the Issue Department dropped by nearly BGN 9.9m to BGN 7,010.7m, according to the weekly report of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) for the week ending June 29. A week earlier they stood at BGN 7,020.6m. On the assets side, the cash and nostro accounts in foreign currencies increased by about BGN 98.6m to BGN 1,241.7m. Currency in circulation dropped by nearly BGN 7m to BGN 2,552m. Foreign securities were down by BGN 118.5m to BGN 5,055m. The deposits of the Government and state-financed organisations, which are shown as liabilities, increased by about BGN 54.7m to BGN 2,925.3m at the end of last week
