In Oct'21, amid the ongoing epidemic situation, the number of foreign tourist arrivals to Bulgaria was 567.6k (+35.4% YoY) compared to 419.1k in Oct’20. The visits from EU-member states reached 242.7k (+29.4% YoY) and accounted for 42.7% of the total foreign tourist arrivals during the month, while the visits from other European countries increased by 40.7% YoY to 270.8k and made up 47.7% of all visits to Bulgaria.
