In Sep'22 the number of foreign tourist arrivals to Bulgaria was 1.1m (+44% YoY) compared to 0.8m in Sep’21. The visits from EU-member states reached 547k (+39.4% YoY) and accounted for 49.2% of the total foreign tourist arrivals during the month, while the visits from other European countries increased by 41.1% YoY to 445.6k and made up 40.1% of all visits to Bulgaria.
