Rapprochement was marked between the Bulgarian government and the International Monetary Fund /IMF/ on a number of issues, including taxes, a Washington-based IMF source said. Yesterday the IMF Bulgaria mission head, Jerald Schiff, told the BBC that the views of both the IMF and the cabinet on the issues considered were close. Cabinet is likely to give up its intention to introduce a zero tax on reinvested profits. A new mission may arrive in the beginning of November.
