Residential building permits in Q3’23 came to 2.1k (+3.5% QoQ; -2.4% YoY). The total GBA under these permits amounted to 1 136k sq. m (+17.8% QoQ; -31.3% YoY). During the Jul-Sep period, 25 administrative and office buildings received permits (+78.6% QoQ and YoY) with total GBA of 79k sq. m. (+4x QoQ; +38.7% YoY). Other building permits increased to 1.3k (-8.8% QoQ; +3.3% YoY) with GBA of 795.2k sq.m. (+25.8% QoQ; +10% YoY). The construction of 1 528 residential buildings began in the third quarter of 2023 (+0.9% QoQ; -2% YoY) for a total GBA of 865.7k sq.m. (-6.4% QoQ; -19.9% YoY). Administrative and office buildings started in the Jul-Sep period were 17 (-26.1% QoQ; +54.5% YoY) with GBA of 11.4k sq.m. (-45.2 QoQ; +173% YoY), while other buildings reached 618 (-0.3% QoQ; -7.6% YoY) with GBA of 579.4k sq.m. (+29.4% QoQ; +30.8% YoY).
