The assets of Bulgarian REITs amounted to BGN 1.5bn as of end of Q2 2008, up 67.3% YoY, data of the FSC shows. A total of 68 REITs were included in the FSC statistical data for 2008, compared to 47 a year earlier. The combined assets of REIT's rose by 7.68% QoQ in Q2 2008 alone. A total of 56 of all REITs invest in real estate property different from arable land.
