According to seasonally-adjusted data from NSI, retail trade turnover (excluding motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased 0.1% MoM in Dec‘22. On an annual basis, the working day adjusted index was up 3.4%. The sub-index that registered the biggest increase on a monthly basis was ‘Retail sale of textiles, clothing, footwear and leather goods in specialised stores’ (+1.5% MoM; +32.1% YoY), while the biggest monthly decrease was registered in ‘Retail sale via mail, order houses or via Internet’ (-13.4% MoM; +10.2% YoY).
