Trade revenues in the country increased by 7.5% MoM and 10.7% YoY as of end July 2008 according to preliminary data released by the National Statistic Institute. The wholesale trade registered the highest growth: 11.7% YoY, while sales of motor vehicles including fuels, repairs and maintenance increased 10.4% YoY. Retail trade including repair of personal wares marked an increase of 6% YoY.
