The State Agency for Energy and Energy Resources/SAEER/ and the Canadian International Development Agency /CIDA/ signed a contract "Project for technical assistance for the energy system of Southeast Europe /SEETEC/.The project is worth USD 10 M, which is granted by the Canadian agency. The funding is meant for working out strategies for the development of the energy systems of nine countries in the region. SEETEC is a part of the package of projects under the Stability Pact, Milko Kovachev, SAEER Chairman, said.Bulgaria is a key element in the energy supply of the whole region, he noted.
