Bulyard Shipbuilding Industry (BSI), the majority owner of the former Varna Shipyard, has been commissioned by Germany's Reederai Schepers to build a 43,000 ton vessels with an option for further orders for smaller vessels. The 20 mln euro deal was seven months in the making. The first ship should be delivered in 18 months. BSI and Bulgaria's national maritime fleet Navigation Maritime Bulgare (NMB) are expected to sign on Mar 28 a contract for the construction of two 43,000 ton vessels.
